Jody Lenes, Principal
Director of Residential Services
Jody has been working in the landscape and snow industry for the past 30 years having been recognized for his work with both regional and national awards. He studied Landscape Management at the University of Maryland and has earned his designation of Landscape Industry Certified Manager from the National Association of Landscape Professionals. He has earned other certifications including a Level 100 Certification from ASCA (Accredited Snow Contractors Association), Certified Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator from the Maryland Department of Agriculture and he is a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert through the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
A lifetime Howard County resident, Jody has been a long time member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce having served on committees and the Board of Directors. Jody is always continuing to learn about the green industry, business practices and personal development and cares deeply about making sure his clients, his team and his community are all achieving a win. A family man, Jody continues to reside in Howard County with his wife Anita, son Connor and their dog Susie. He enjoys cooking, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Orioles, Ravens, and Capitals.
Bill Turley, Principal
Principal - Director of Operations - Commercial Services
Bill attributes his success in Sales & Operations Management to his excellent knack for listening to his customers, understanding what lies beneath their words and proactively providing solutions to their problems, instantly. Of course, his 45+ years of exclusive greens industry experience and extensive training in sales and operations management – resulting from his work with 2 of the biggest companies in the USA – furnish a solid base for his professional achievements.
For 4 years in a row, his renewal rate was greater than 100%, and yet, his quest for constant improvement leads him to combine best-known industry methods and practices with his process-driven approach as he continues to be a partner – not a vendor – for his clients. He follows the personal philosophy of the “Golden Rule” and credits the TEAM for the success of eos Outdoor Services.
Bill has a BS Degree from Davis & Elkins College and lives in Howard County with his family.
Sheri Heflin
Financial Manager
Sheri is an accomplished finance professional who oversees money matters at eos Outdoor Services. For the past 20 years, she has gathered extensive industry experience in a range of industries. Sheri is one of the pioneers of eos Outdoor Services; having stepped in as the Finance Manager at the time of the company’s inception in 2016. She lends her professional expertise to help make crucial monetary decisions to support the company’s financial health. Sheri is a lifelong resident of Howard County, where still resides on part of the farm on the road named after her family. She enjoys Howard County life with her husband, their dog and horse. She also considers herself truly blessed with kids and grandkids and loves to spend as much time with them as possible.
Ryun Wauls
Senior Landscape Architect
Ryun studied Landscape Architecture at WVU and started his career as a Landscape artist in Maryland. His expertise and design abilities soon made him a sought-after landscape architect. Ryun is a multi-award-winning, licensed landscape architect in the state of Maryland with 30 years of experience in the field. He is also a Member of the ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects) and a Marine Corps Veteran.
He lives in Clarksville with his wife and 2 college-aged boys and enjoys his own brand of home-brewed beer, as he watches the English premier league and cheers for ‘Good Old Arsenal’.
Tom Vandevoordt
Account Executive
After earning his Bachelor’s in Landscape Management from the University of Maryland, Tom started working in the landscaping industry and gained invaluable experience in several positions including stormwater construction/management. Tom also has an MDE Responsible Personnel certification and enjoys working with shrubs and perennials, the most.
What makes Tom a good account manager is his quick problem-solving ability, as he comes up with ingenious ways to solve clients’ issues. When not at work, Tom can be found spending time with his wife and 2 dogs.
April Rashell
Account Executive/Business Developer
After earning her Bachelor’s in Leadership from Life Pacific University, April Rashell started working in the landscaping industry, gaining invaluable experience at leading commercial landscape companies and a high-end residential firm in the DC Metro area. April is also a Certified Landscape Technician and enjoys nurturing relationships with commercial maintenance clients the most.
What makes April a good account manager is her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to client care. When not at work, April can be found spending time with her husband and grown children and serving as a licensed pastor in Frederick, MD.
